Tennis player Steffi Graf is listing her Miami waterfront luxury home for $3.5 million dollars.
Mrs. Graf purchased the 3,000 square foot home in 2001 for $1.315 million, before she married tennis star Andre Agassi. The property, built in 1935, has four bedrooms and five bedrooms, in a Mediterranean Revival style, and is on a lot of nearly a quarter of an acre. The house does need renovation and those renovations will likely need approval from the Miami Beach Design Review Board since the habitation was constructed before 1942.
The dwelling is located on Hibiscus Island, in the Biscayne Bay community of Miami-Dade county. The property includes a pool, covered terrace, and a dock for boats and other water craft. The home is only a few miles away from Shaquille O’Neal’s Star Island home, listed for $32 million.
Steffi Graf (Stefanie Maria Graf) is a winner of 22 Grand Slam singles titles in her tennis career and is now retired. She held the world number one spot in tennis and is widely considered one of the greatest female tennis players and champions of all time. In December of 1999, Mrs. Graf was named the greatest female tennis player of the 20th century by a panel of experts assembled by The Associated Press. She is married to tennis star Andre Agassi, a former world number one tennis player.
