What are the advatages of buying a foreclosed home at an auction? Is it just a stero-type to say that it is cheeper to do so?

I was foreclosed on last month and I’m clueless. The home is in Florida, but I reside in Texas. The bank has declined three offers for short sale. Am I obligated to attend the hearings or are there situations where I’m not obligated to be present?

JUDGMENT OF FORECLOSURE ENTERED (CASE IS PENDING)

What does this mean….it was the decsion of the court entered on 5-12-2008.

Does Case Pending mean that if the owners can present the bank with a buyer the intended foreclosure may be dismissed or vacated?…or is it Pending for further action?
